UBL Fuels Premium Growth with New ₹90 Crore Telangana Canning Line

United Breweries Limited (UBL), a HEINEKEN group company, has commissioned a new canning line at its Nizam Brewery in Telangana, strengthening its manufacturing capacity and supporting the company’s premium beer growth strategy.

The expansion is part of the ₹90 crore investment announced in 2025 and is aimed at meeting rising consumer demand for canned beer while enhancing production efficiency.

Production Capacity Increases to 0.9 Million Hectolitres

The newly commissioned facility has increased the annual production capacity of the Nizam Brewery by 0.4 million hectolitres.

With the expansion, the brewery’s total annual capacity has grown from 0.5 million hectolitres to 0.9 million hectolitres.

The additional capacity is expected to support growing demand across UBL’s premium beer portfolio.
