Humanoid Robort by reliance by 2025

Addverb Technologies, a Noida-based robotics company backed by Reliance Industries, is set to launch India’s first humanoid robot in 2025. This ambitious project aims to position India as a global leader in robotics, competing with giants like Tesla, Boston Dynamics, and Agility Robotics. The initiative is also a significant step in advancing the “Make in India” campaign, showcasing India’s technological prowess on a global stage.

The humanoid robots will tackle “3D” tasks—Dull, Dirty, and Dangerous—across various industries, including retail, energy, and fashion. According to Co-founder and CEO Sangeet Kumar, these robots will feature advanced GPU technology, energy-efficient actuators, and dual-arm functionality, enabling them to perform complex tasks with high efficiency.

Reliance Jio AI and 5G Integration

A standout feature of Addverb’s humanoids is their integration with Reliance’s Jio AI Platform and 5G connectivity. This will enable the robots to autonomously navigate dynamic environments using cutting-edge Visual and Language Action (VLA) technology, setting a new benchmark in robotic intelligence.

Competing with Global Giants

Addverb is positioning its humanoid robots as direct competitors to Tesla’s Optimus robots, expected to cost between $20,000 and $25,000. While acknowledging the significant investment required, Sangeet Kumar expressed confidence in competing with international players, including Chinese firms benefiting from state subsidies.

Building on Proven Success

Addverb’s venture into humanoid robotics is part of its broader vision to create a robust robotics ecosystem. The company has already achieved success in warehouse automation, working with clients like Reliance, PepsiCo, and HUL. This expertise forms a strong foundation for its humanoid robotics aspirations.

Transforming India’s Role in Automation

As the world moves towards greater automation, Addverb’s humanoid project promises to make India a central player in this technological transformation. This initiative underscores India’s growing emphasis on innovation, automation, and cutting-edge technology, paving the way for a new era of robotics on a global scale.
