Ashoka Buildcon Secures Two NHAI Projects Worth ₹2,791 Crore in West Bengal

Ashoka Buildcon Limited has been awarded two significant contracts by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI). The projects involve the construction of 4-lane economic corridors in West Bengal under the Hybrid Annuity Mode (HAM). Below are the details of each project:


Project 1: Kharagpur to Chandrakona-Ghatal Road

  • Project Name: Development of a 4-lane Economic Corridor from Kharagpur to Chandrakona-Ghatal Road Crossing, spanning Km 0.000 to Km 41.000 of National Highway (NH) 116A (Package-I).
  • Scope: Construction of a 41-kilometer stretch as part of NH 116A.
  • Bid Price: ₹1,400 crore, excluding Goods and Services Tax (GST).
  • Execution Timeline: 910 days, including the monsoon period.
  • Location: West Bengal, India.

Project 2: Bowaichandi to Guskara-Katwa Road

  • Project Name: Development of a 4-lane Economic Corridor from Bowaichandi to Guskara-Katwa Road Section, spanning Km 89.814 to Km 133.000 of NH 116A (Package-III).
  • Scope: Construction of a 43.186-kilometer stretch as part of NH 116A.
  • Bid Price: ₹1,391 crore, excluding GST.
  • Execution Timeline: 910 days, including the monsoon period.
  • Location: West Bengal, India.
