Godavari Biorefineries Limited has announced a capital expenditure plan of approximately Rs. 130 crore to establish a new corn/grain-based distillery at its Sameerwadi manufacturing unit. The distillery will have a capacity of 200 KLPD and is scheduled to become operational by Q4 FY 2026.
The project will be financed through a combination of internal accruals and debt, reflecting the company’s strategy to expand ethanol production capacity using alternate feedstock for distillery operations.
This development was disclosed to the National Stock Exchange of India Limited and BSE Limited under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
