H.G. Infra Engineering Declared Qualified Bidder for 300 MW Battery Storage in Gujarat

H.G. Infra Engineering Limited (HGINFRA) has been declared a qualified bidder by Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd (GUVNL) for setting up 300 MW/600 MWh of Standalone Battery Energy Storage Systems. This is part of a larger 500 MW/1000 MWh project initiated under Phase-VI of the Tariff-Based Global Competitive Bidding process.

The project involves setting up cutting-edge battery storage infrastructure to support Gujarat’s renewable energy initiatives and is expected to be executed within 24 months.

Awarded by a domestic entity, this contract highlights HGINFRA’s growing expertise beyond traditional infrastructure, advancing into the energy storage and green energy sectors. There is no promoter or related party interest involved in this project.

This achievement marks a significant milestone in HGINFRA’s diversification strategy into emerging energy technologies.
