HBL Engineering Limited (formerly HBL Power Systems Limited) has secured a significant order valued at ₹1,522.40 Crores (excluding applicable taxes) from Chittaranjan Locomotive Works. The contract involves the supply, installation, and commissioning of the Train Collision Avoidance System (TCAS) (KAVACH) on 2,200 locomotives. The project is expected to be completed within 12 months from the issuance of the purchase order.
