United Foodbrands Limited (formerly Barbeque-Nation Hospitality Limited) announced its strategic entry into the South-East Asian market, starting with Thailand.

Through its wholly owned Dubai-based subsidiary, Barbeque Nation MENA Holding Limited, the company acquired stakes in two Thailand-based companies, which have now become step-down subsidiaries.

  • United Foodbrands Thai Holding Co., Ltd.

    • Acquired 99.99% shareholding, giving complete control

    • Entity will focus on restaurants, hospitality, and consultancy services

  • United Foodbrands Thai Co., Ltd.

    • Acquired 49% equity, but holds 90.57% voting rights through ownership of all ordinary shares

    • The company is aligned with United Foodbrands’ core restaurant business

These acquisitions mark a key international expansion move as the company explores new growth opportunities beyond India.
