Pace Digitek Subsidiary Lands Massive BSNL Order for Li-ion Infrastructure

Pace Digitek Limited has strengthened its presence in India’s telecommunications infrastructure space with a significant new order win. The company recently announced that its material subsidiary, Lineage Power Private Limited, has received a substantial Advance Purchase Order (APO) from Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), India’s state-owned telecom operator.

Order Details and Scope of Work

The order focuses on power backup and energy storage solutions, which are critical for maintaining uninterrupted telecom operations across networks. As per the APO (No. MMP/SE/007/LI-ION BTY/2025-26), the scope of work includes:

  • 25,000 Li-ion Battery Modules: Basic 100 AH/48V battery modules equipped with advanced Battery Management Systems (BMS).

  • 2,500 IP55-Rated Racks: High-durability racks, each designed to house up to eight battery modules, ensuring protection and operational reliability.

  • Long-Term Maintenance Support: A five-year Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) that will commence after the completion of an initial five-year warranty period.

Contract Value and Execution Timeline

The total value of the domestic contract stands at ₹94.35 crore (inclusive of GST). Unlike long-gestation infrastructure projects, this telecom order comes with a tight execution timeline, requiring completion within five months from the date of receipt of the purchase order.

Strengthening Telecom Infrastructure

This order from BSNL highlights Pace Digitek’s growing capabilities in delivering scalable energy storage and backup solutions for large telecom networks. The win also reinforces the company’s role in supporting India’s ongoing efforts to strengthen and modernize its telecommunications infrastructure.
