RITES (Rail India Technical and Economic Service) has been awarded a major order by NLC India Limited for the construction and commissioning of a railway siding. This significant project will play a crucial role in enhancing coal transportation infrastructure at key mining sites.

Project Scope & Key Details

Scope of Work:

RITES will undertake comprehensive project planning and execution, including:

  • Feasibility Study Report (FSR)
  • Detailed Project Report (DPR)
  • Detailed Engineering (DE)
  • Project Management under Turnkey Depositary mode on a cost-plus-fee basis

The project focuses on the construction and commissioning of a railway siding at Machhakata (Revised) Coal Mine and the adjacent New Patrapara South Coal Mine.

  • Client: NLC India Limited
  • Entity Type: Domestic

Execution Timeline:

The entire project, from conceptualization to commissioning, is set to be completed within 36 months.
