RITES Wins ₹157 Cr Oil India Contract | Housing Complex in Duliajan Assam

RITES Limited, a leading transport infrastructure consultancy and engineering firm, has been awarded a significant contract by Oil India Limited for the construction of a Workmen Housing Complex in Duliajan, Assam. The project, valued at ₹157.25 crore, is set to be completed within 36 months. 

Project Overview

The contract entails the turnkey construction of a Workmen Housing Complex (BQ Area) at Oil India’s Duliajan site. This initiative aims to enhance living facilities for Oil India’s workforce, contributing to improved employee welfare and operational efficiency. The project will be executed under the Depository Works Mode, a framework facilitating streamlined project management and execution. 

Strategic Implications

This contract underscores RITES Limited’s expertise in delivering comprehensive infrastructure solutions and reinforces its position as a trusted partner for major public sector enterprises. The project aligns with RITES’s commitment to contributing to the development of robust infrastructure in India’s northeastern region. 

Additional Contracts

In addition to the Oil India project, RITES has secured another contract worth ₹155.50 crore from Numaligarh Refinery Limited. This project involves the construction of railway sidings at the NRL Panchgram Terminal, the third railway spur at Rangapani (SMT), and the Duliajan Crude Oil TW Loading Railway Siding. The project is scheduled to be completed within 24 months from the date of site handover.
