He discussed investment opportunities and industrial expansion in the textile sector with the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Dr. Mohan Yadav.
Past Investments and Achievements: Shri Gupta highlighted that Trident invested ₹5,000 crores in Madhya Pradesh in recent years. This investment has enabled the export of finished goods to 122 countries, showcasing Madhya Pradesh’s role in global trade.
Future Investment Plans: Trident Group is set to invest an additional ₹3,000 crores in the state’s textile sector. This expansion aims to increase employment opportunities, raising the workforce from 12,000 to over 15,000 employees.
Commitment to Local Sourcing: Trident remains dedicated to sourcing cotton and manufacturing finished goods within Madhya Pradesh. This strategy helps retain economic benefits within the state and supports local industries.
