Heritage Foods Reports Record Q1 FY27 Revenue of ₹1,338 Crore; VAP Business Grows 40%

Heritage Foods Limited has delivered its highest-ever quarterly consolidated revenue, reporting ₹1,338.1 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2026 (Q1 FY27). The company recorded 18% year-on-year revenue growth, supported by strong demand for its Value-Added Products (VAP) portfolio and consistent execution across procurement, manufacturing, and distribution.

The management shared detailed insights into the quarterly performance during its earnings conference call held on July 17, 2026, highlighting the company’s resilience despite a challenging environment marked by elevated milk procurement costs.

Q1 FY27 Financial Highlights

Heritage Foods reported healthy growth across key financial metrics:

  • Consolidated Revenue: ₹1,338.1 crore, up 18% YoY
  • EBITDA: ₹61.9 crore
  • EBITDA Margin: 4.6%
  • Profit After Tax (PAT): ₹15 crore
  • PAT Margin: 1.9%

The company maintained profitability despite continued pressure on raw milk prices, reflecting disciplined cost management and operational efficiency.

Value-Added Products Continue to Drive Growth

The standout performer during the quarter was Heritage Foods’ Value-Added Products (VAP) business.

Key highlights include:

  • VAP Revenue: ₹563.6 crore
  • Year-on-Year Growth: 40%

The strong performance was driven by robust demand across several high-margin dairy categories, including:

  • Paneer
  • Curd
  • Ghee
  • Butter
  • Other value-added dairy products

The increasing contribution of VAP products continues to improve Heritage Foods’ product mix and supports its long-term profitability strategy.

Strong Milk Procurement Network

The company also strengthened its milk procurement operations during the quarter.

  • Average Milk Procurement: 18.10 lakh litres per day
  • Growth: 2% YoY

Heritage Foods attributed the growth to sustained investments in farmer engagement, procurement infrastructure, and its integrated farm-to-consumer business model, which ensured reliable milk availability despite industry-wide supply challenges.

Management Focus on Long-Term Growth

During the conference call, the management, including Executive Director Mrs. N. Brahmani and Whole-Time Director Dr. M. Samaria Rao, reiterated the company’s strategic priorities:

  • Expanding milk procurement networks.
  • Accelerating growth in value-added products.
  • Investing in manufacturing capacity.
  • Strengthening distribution and retail reach.
  • Building new growth platforms across dairy and adjacent categories.

The management emphasized that the continued expansion of the VAP portfolio remains central to the company’s long-term growth strategy.
