WeWork India Management Limited Reports Stellar Q1 FY27 with 28.5% Revenue Surge

July 23, 2026: WeWork India Management Limited, one of India’s leading flexible workspace providers, has released the transcript of its Q1 FY27 earnings conference call, highlighting strong financial and operational performance for the quarter ended June 30, 2026.

The company reported robust growth across revenue, profitability, occupancy, and membership, reflecting the increasing adoption of flexible office spaces by enterprises and businesses across India.

Strong Financial Performance

WeWork India delivered healthy year-on-year growth across all key financial parameters during the first quarter of FY27.

Financial Highlights

  • Revenue: ₹698 crore, up 28.5% year-on-year.
  • EBITDA: ₹138 crore, registering a 69% year-on-year increase.
  • EBITDA Margin: 19.8%.
  • Profit After Tax (PAT): ₹53.2 crore, a more than 6.5-fold increase compared to the corresponding quarter last year.
  • Return on Capital Employed (ROCE): Improved to 28.6%, more than three times the level recorded a year earlier.

The strong improvement in profitability reflects higher operating leverage, improved occupancy, and continued expansion across the company’s workspace portfolio.

Expanding Presence Across India

WeWork India continued to strengthen its leadership position in the flexible workspace market by expanding its operational footprint.

  • Managed Workspace: 9.1 million square feet
  • Total Desks: 133,600, representing an 18.5% year-on-year increase

The company’s expanding network enables it to serve a growing number of enterprise clients across major business hubs in India.

Membership and Occupancy Continue to Improve

Customer demand remained strong during the quarter.

Key operational metrics include:

  • Total Members: Approximately 113,000, up nearly 30% year-on-year.
  • Overall Occupancy: 84.9%
  • Occupancy at Mature Centres: 87.5%

The improving occupancy levels indicate healthy demand for flexible office spaces and efficient utilization of the company’s existing portfolio.

High Customer Retention

WeWork India continued to maintain strong customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Key customer metrics include:

  • Net Promoter Score (NPS): +78
  • Renewal Rate: 84%
  • Repeat Business: 52% of new desk sales came from existing members.

These metrics highlight the company’s ability to retain clients while expanding relationships with existing enterprise customers.

Commenting on the results, Karan Virwani, Managing Director and CEO of WeWork India Management Limited, noted that year-on-year comparisons provide a clearer picture of the company’s growth trajectory, as expansion-related investments are typically made before new centres begin generating revenue.
