Highway Infrastructure Wins ₹28.69 Crore NHAI Toll Operations Contract in Tamil Nadu

Highway Infrastructure Limited, an integrated infrastructure development company, has secured a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) worth ₹28.69 crore from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI). The contract involves operating and managing a key toll plaza on National Highway-44 (NH-44) in Tamil Nadu, further strengthening the company’s order book and expanding its presence in southern India.

Strengthening Presence on India’s Key Highway Network

The Kozhinjipatti Fee Plaza is located on NH-44, India’s longest national highway, which connects several major commercial and industrial hubs across the country. The stretch serves as a vital transportation corridor in southern Tamil Nadu, handling significant passenger, commercial, and freight traffic.

The new contract is expected to enhance Highway Infrastructure’s revenue visibility while reinforcing its operational footprint in South India.

Management Commentary

Commenting on the order win, Mr. Arun Kumar Jain, Managing Director of Highway Infrastructure Limited, said the award reflects NHAI’s confidence in the company’s execution capabilities and operational expertise.

He added that expanding the company’s presence across India’s national highway network remains a key strategic priority, with a focus on building a technology-enabled, diversified toll management platform across major economic corridors.
