Boosting Indigenous Defence Manufacturing
Artillery systems require highly engineered components capable of withstanding extreme operating conditions, including intense shock, vibration, pressure, and heavy battlefield loads. Developing these critical components within India is an important step toward enhancing the country’s self-reliance in defence manufacturing.
The latest order aligns with the Government of India’s Aatmanirbhar Bharat and Make in India initiatives, which aim to promote indigenous defence production and reduce dependence on imported equipment.
Expanding Defence Portfolio
PTC Industries already has a strong presence in the defence and aerospace sector. The company is involved in the development and supply of critical cast components for the M777 Ultra-Lightweight Towed Howitzer programme of BAE Systems, demonstrating its expertise in manufacturing complex, high-performance defence components.
