V-Mart Retail Q1 FY27 Results: Revenue Rises 23%, PAT Jumps 41%; Adds 15 New Stores

V-Mart Retail Limited, one of India’s leading value fashion retailers, reported a strong financial performance for the quarter ended June 30, 2026 (Q1 FY27), driven by healthy consumer demand, strong same-store sales growth, expansion across Tier II and Tier III cities, and continued improvements in operational efficiency.

The company delivered double-digit growth in revenue, EBITDA, and net profit while further strengthening its retail footprint across the country.

V-Mart Retail Q1 FY27 Financial Highlights

On a consolidated basis, the company reported robust growth across key financial metrics:

  • Revenue from Operations: ₹1,089 crore, up 23% year-on-year from ₹885 crore in Q1 FY26.
  • EBITDA: ₹161 crore, registering 27% YoY growth compared with ₹126 crore.
  • EBITDA Margin: Expanded by 50 basis points to 14.8%, from 14.3% in the corresponding quarter last year.
  • Profit After Tax (PAT): ₹47 crore, increasing 41% year-on-year from ₹34 crore.
  • PAT Margin: Improved to 4.3%, compared with 3.8% in Q1 FY26.
  • Same-Store Sales Growth (SSSG): 9% year-on-year, reflecting healthy customer demand across existing stores.

Strong Operational Performance

V-Mart continued to improve operational efficiency during the quarter through better inventory management and disciplined execution.

Key operational highlights include:

  • Per-store inventory reduced by 5% year-on-year.
  • Inventory days improved by 8%, declining to 86 days as of June 30, 2026.

The improved inventory efficiency is expected to support healthier cash flows and better working capital management going forward.

Retail Network Continues to Expand

The company maintained its focus on expanding its presence across underserved Tier II and Tier III markets.

During Q1 FY27:

  • 15 new stores were opened.
  • 1 underperforming store was closed.

As of June 30, 2026, V-Mart operated:

  • 591 retail stores
  • Across 28 States and Union Territories
  • Covering approximately 50 lakh square feet of retail space.

The expanding store network continues to strengthen the company’s presence in India’s value fashion retail segment.

Annual General Meeting and Dividend Proposal

V-Mart Retail has scheduled its 24th Annual General Meeting (AGM) for July 30, 2026.

During the AGM, shareholders will consider the Board’s recommendation to approve a final dividend of 10% for the financial year 2025-26, subject to shareholder approval.
