R R Kabel Limited Q1 FY27 Results: PAT Surges 129% YoY to ₹205 Crore

R R Kabel Limited (NSE: RRKABEL) has reported a record-breaking financial performance for the first quarter ended June 30, 2026 (Q1 FY27), delivering its highest-ever quarterly revenue and a sharp increase in profitability. The strong performance was driven by robust demand in the domestic market, healthy export growth, improved operating efficiencies, and a favorable product mix.

Q1 FY27 Financial Highlights

RR Kabel delivered impressive growth across all key financial metrics during the quarter.

  • Revenue from Operations: ₹3,168.2 crore, up 54% year-on-year (YoY) from ₹2,058.6 crore.
  • EBITDA: ₹285.3 crore, registering a 99% YoY increase.
  • EBITDA Margin: Expanded to 9.0%, compared with 7.0% in Q1 FY26, an improvement of 205 basis points.
  • Profit After Tax (PAT): ₹205.2 crore, soaring 129% YoY from ₹89.7 crore.
  • PAT Margin: Improved to 6.5%, up 212 basis points over the corresponding quarter last year.

The record quarterly performance reflects strong operating leverage and disciplined execution across the business.

Wires & Cables Business Delivers Record Performance

The Wires & Cables segment remained the company’s primary growth driver.

  • Revenue: Increased 57% YoY to ₹2,880.0 crore.
  • Segment Profit: Rose 105% YoY to ₹285.4 crore.
  • Segment Margin: Improved to 9.9%, compared with 7.6% in Q1 FY26, an expansion of 232 basis points.

The growth was supported by higher sales volumes, strong demand across residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects, and favorable industry trends.

Fast-Moving Electrical Goods Business Reaches Operational Breakeven

The Fast-Moving Electrical Goods (FMEG) business continued its growth trajectory, benefiting from increasing demand for premium electrical products and an expanding distribution network.

During the quarter, the segment achieved operational breakeven, marking an important milestone as the company continues to scale its consumer electrical products portfolio.
