Hindustan Unilever Reports Highest Sales Growth in 13 Quarters, Q1 FY27 Turnover Rises 10% to ₹17,184 Crore
Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) has announced its consolidated financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026 (Q1 FY27), delivering its strongest Underlying Sales Growth (USG) in the last 13 quarters. The FMCG giant reported broad-based growth across all business segments, supported by balanced volume expansion and pricing actions amid a stable demand environment.
The company’s total turnover increased 10% year-on-year to ₹17,184 crore, reflecting healthy consumer demand and continued premiumization across key product categories.
Q1 FY27 Financial Highlights
- Turnover: ₹17,184 crore, registering 10% Underlying Sales Growth (USG) year-on-year, with growth equally driven by volume and pricing.
- EBITDA: Increased 8% YoY to ₹3,947 crore, while maintaining a healthy EBITDA margin of 23.0%.
- Profit Before Exceptional Items: Rose 9% YoY to ₹2,731 crore.
- Reported Profit After Tax (PAT): Stood at ₹2,680 crore, down 2% YoY due to the impact of a one-time tax credit recorded in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
Strong Performance Across Business Segments
HUL witnessed broad-based growth across its portfolio during the quarter.
Home Care emerged as the strongest-performing segment, delivering 14% USG, its highest growth in three years. The performance was driven by robust demand for Fabric Wash and Household Care products.
Beauty & Wellbeing recorded 12% USG, supported by double-digit growth in Premium Hair Care and Premium Skin Care categories, reflecting increasing consumer preference for premium products.
The Foods & Refreshment business posted 7% USG, led by strong momentum in Coffee and Lifestyle Nutrition. The company also announced that its Boost brand achieved the significant milestone of crossing ₹1,000 crore in annual turnover.
Meanwhile, the Personal Care segment reported 4% USG. Growth was supported by pricing measures implemented to offset persistent palm oil inflation, while body wash and premium soap bars continued to register double-digit growth.

Commenting on the quarterly performance, Priya Nair said the stable domestic demand environment, coupled with strategic investments in market development, enabled the company to deliver strong execution during the quarter.
