Career Point Edutech Wins ₹35.75 Crore Government Contract to Provide Online Coaching for 6,500 Students
Career Point Edutech Limited (BSE: 544499, NSE: CPEDU) has secured two significant government work orders worth approximately ₹35.75 crore from the Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Research and Training Institute (MAHAJYOTI), an autonomous institute under the Government of Maharashtra.
Under the contract, the company will provide comprehensive online coaching for the JEE, NEET, and CET entrance examinations to 6,500 students in the Other Backward Classes (OBC) Welfare Department category. The initiative aims to improve access to quality competitive exam preparation for deserving students across Maharashtra.
Contract Value and Student Coverage
The total order value of ₹35.75 crore is divided into two separate coaching programs:
- 11th Standard Coaching Program: ₹18.15 crore for 3,000 students
- 12th Standard Coaching Program: ₹17.60 crore for 3,500 students
The contracts have an initial tenure of two years, with an option to extend annually for up to two additional years through mutual agreement.
Payments will be released in milestone-based installments, linked to the completion of various stages of the coaching program.
Comprehensive Digital Learning Platform
As part of the project, Career Point Edutech will deploy its technology-driven education platform to provide a complete learning ecosystem for students. The services include:
- Live interactive online classes by experienced faculty
- Digital study materials and learning resources
- Offline mentoring and doubt-solving sessions
- Regular online mock tests and practice assessments
- Performance tracking and analytics
- Distribution of tablets with internet connectivity to eligible students
The integrated learning approach is designed to enhance accessibility and improve students’ preparation for highly competitive engineering and medical entrance examinations.
