Apcotex Industries Limited Reports Record Q1 FY27 Net Profit Up 311% to ₹78.9 Crore

Apcotex Industries Limited, a leading manufacturer of Synthetic Rubber and Synthetic Latex, has reported its best-ever quarterly performance for the quarter ended June 30, 2026 (Q1 FY27). The company achieved record highs in revenue, EBITDA, profit before tax (PBT), and profit after tax (PAT), driven by higher product realizations across its key business segments.

Despite lower sales volumes, improved pricing and a favorable product mix helped the company deliver strong growth in both revenue and profitability.

Key Financial Highlights (Q1 FY27)

  • Revenue from Operations: ₹525.6 crore, up 39.9% YoY from ₹375.8 crore
  • EBITDA: ₹117.1 crore, up 202.6% YoY from ₹38.7 crore
  • EBITDA Margin: 22.28%, compared with 10.30% in Q1 FY26
  • Profit After Tax (PAT): ₹78.9 crore, up 310.9% YoY from ₹19.2 crore
  • PAT Margin: 15.01%, compared with 5.11% in the year-ago quarter
  • Diluted EPS: ₹15.23 per share, up from ₹3.70 per share in Q1 FY26

Higher Realizations Drive Growth

Apcotex attributed its strong financial performance to higher average selling prices across its Synthetic Rubber and Synthetic Latex product portfolio. The increase in realizations more than compensated for lower sales volumes during the quarter, resulting in record revenue and profitability.

The improvement in pricing, combined with operating efficiencies, also led to a sharp expansion in EBITDA and profit margins.

Export Business Faces Temporary Headwinds

The company noted that exports were affected by geopolitical tensions in West Asia, which disrupted global shipping and logistics during the quarter.

Despite these challenges, domestic demand remained healthy, helping offset the impact of slower export shipments.

Working Capital Increases

Working capital requirements increased during the quarter due to higher raw material prices.

The company said the rise in input costs led to:

  • Higher inventory values
  • Increased receivables, as higher raw material costs were passed on to customers
  • Additional working capital requirements to support business operations

Capacity Expansion Continues

Apcotex Industries continues to invest in strategic capital expenditure projects aimed at expanding manufacturing capacity and improving operational efficiency.

The company operates manufacturing facilities in Taloja, Maharashtra, and Valia, Gujarat, and supplies products to leading customers across multiple industries, including Asian Paints, UltraTech Cement, MRF, Supreme Industries, and Paragon Footwear.
