Manba Finance Limited Releases Q1 FY27 Call Transcript, Outlines Regional Expansion

Manba Finance Limited has submitted the transcript of its Q1 FY27 earnings conference call to the stock exchanges. The conference call, held on July 28, 2026, was led by Managing Director Manish Shah and Executive Director & Chief Financial Officer Jay Mota, who discussed the company’s operational performance, business expansion, and growth strategy for the quarter ended June 30, 2026.

Management highlighted the company’s continued expansion in the retail lending business, supported by a wider branch network, faster loan processing, and a diversified lending portfolio.

  • Dealer Network: More than 1,700 dealer partners
  • Workforce: Over 1,950 employees, including more than 1,000 sales personnel

Fast Loan Processing

Manba Finance continues to focus on technology-driven lending processes.

  • More than 60% of loan applications are sanctioned within one minute.
  • Around 92% of loans receive approval on the same day, helping improve customer experience and operational efficiency.

Diversified Lending Portfolio

The company’s lending portfolio includes multiple retail financing products, such as:

  • New two-wheeler loans
  • Used two-wheeler loans
  • Three-wheeler loans
  • Used car loans
  • MSME Loans Against Property (LAP)
  • Top-up loans
  • Personal loans
  • Battery replacement financing for electric vehicles (EVs)

This diversified product mix enables the company to cater to a broader customer base across urban and semi-urban markets.

Strong Funding Relationships

To support future loan growth, Manba Finance has established borrowing relationships with a diversified group of lenders, including:

  • Three public sector banks
  • Ten private sector banks
  • Twenty-five NBFCs

This diversified funding base provides the company with access to multiple sources of capital for business expansion.

Expansion into South India

Management outlined its strategy to strengthen its presence in southern India through a strategic partnership with Sreesastha Group.

The company has already commenced operations in Karnataka and plans to expand into Tamil Nadu during FY27, followed by a phased rollout across other southern states.

Focus on EV and Rural Finance

Manba Finance also highlighted its efforts to expand in the electric vehicle (EV) and rural lending segments through partnerships with AMU Leasing and S.H. Finserv.

These collaborations are expected to help the company tap into growing demand for green mobility financing and increase its presence in rural and semi-urban markets.
