Juniper Green Energy Q1 FY27: Revenue Jumps 79%, Operational Capacity Reaches 2,575 MWp
Juniper Green Energy Limited reported strong operational and financial performance in the first quarter of FY27, supported by significant renewable energy capacity additions and continued expansion in battery energy storage systems (BESS).

Q1 FY27 Financial Performance
Juniper Green Energy reported total income of ₹324 crore in Q1 FY27, registering a 79% year-on-year increase from ₹181 crore in Q1 FY26. Total income also increased 33% sequentially from ₹244 crore in Q4 FY26.
EBITDA rose 86% YoY to ₹294 crore, compared with ₹159 crore in Q1 FY26. On a quarter-on-quarter basis, EBITDA increased 38% from ₹214 crore.
The company’s EBITDA margin improved to 91%, up 300 basis points from 88% in both Q1 FY26 and Q4 FY26.
Operating income stood at ₹291 crore, up 81% YoY from ₹161 crore, while operating EBITDA increased 89% YoY to ₹261 crore. Operating EBITDA margin improved to 90%, compared with 86% in Q1 FY26.
Profit after tax (PAT) increased 54% YoY to ₹33 crore, compared with ₹22 crore in Q1 FY26. PAT also increased 55% sequentially from ₹22 crore in Q4 FY26.

Renewable Energy Capacity Expands Rapidly
Juniper Green Energy continued to accelerate its capacity commissioning during Q1 FY27.
The company commissioned 601 MWp of renewable energy capacity during Q1 FY27, comprising 458 MWp of solar and 143 MW of wind capacity. This was the company’s highest-ever renewable energy capacity addition in a single quarter.
Operational capacity reached 2,409 MWp as of June 30, 2026. Following the commissioning of another 167 MW of wind capacity after June 30, total operational capacity increased to 2,575 MWp as of the date of the presentation.

The company said the decline in plant availability was mainly due to the increasing share of wind capacity in its overall operational portfolio.
BESS Expansion Becomes a Key Growth Driver
Battery energy storage is emerging as an important component of Juniper Green Energy’s growth strategy.
The company commissioned approximately 400 MWh of BESS during Q1 FY27 and has ordered additional BESS capacity of around 4,000 MWh.
