Mercedes-AMG has launched the C 63 S E Performance, a powerful hybrid sedan, in India, priced at Rs 1.95 crore (ex-showroom). Deliveries are scheduled to begin in Q2 2025. This model stands out as the world’s most powerful production sedan with a four-cylinder engine. Key highlights include:

• Hybrid Powertrain: This sedan combines a front-mounted four-cylinder engine with a rear-mounted electric motor, producing a total of 680 hp and 1020 Nm of torque. It accelerates from 0-100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds.
• Engine Details: The four-cylinder front engine generates 476 hp and features an electrically assisted exhaust turbocharger.
• Electric Motor and Battery: The electric motor provides an additional 204 hp and 320 Nm of torque. The system includes a 6.1 kWh battery, powering an electric-only range of 13 km.
• Driving Modes and Handling: Eight driving modes, including Drift mode, come with AMG’s 4MATIC+ system. A rear-axle steering system and adjustable AMG ride control suspension ensure agile handling.
• Luxurious Features: Includes 20-inch AMG alloy wheels, Nappa leather seats, and a Burmester sound system, alongside customization options like AMG ceramic brakes.
