Olectra Greentech Wins ₹424 Crore Electric Bus Order from Himachal Road Transport

​Olectra Greentech Limited has secured a significant order from the Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) for the supply and maintenance of 297 non-air-conditioned, 9-meter electric buses. This order, valued at approximately ₹424.01 crore, represents one of the largest single-state procurements of electric buses in India.

The buses are specifically designed to navigate the challenging terrains of Himachal Pradesh, offering seating for 30 passengers and a range of up to 180 kilometers on a single charge. The delivery of these buses is scheduled over an 11-month period from the date of the Letter of Award (LoA), aiming to enhance sustainable public transportation in the region. ​
