BEML Bags ₹414 Crore Order from BMRCL for Additional Metro Trainsets
BEML Limited has announced a significant business update, revealing that it has received a fresh order worth ₹414 crore from Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL). The order relates to the supply of additional trainsets for the Namma Metro Phase-II expansion project.
This disclosure was officially filed under Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
Bangalore’s metro network is undergoing rapid expansion under Phase II, and the demand for new, modern rolling stock continues to grow. BEML, being a long-time supplier of metro coaches to BMRCL, has once again been entrusted with providing additional trainsets to support increasing ridership and operational requirements.
The new ₹414 crore contract strengthens BEML’s position as a leading player in India’s metro manufacturing ecosystem.
