GK Energy Limited has secured a major contract after receiving a Letter of Empanelment/Letter of Award for supplying solar-powered water pumps across Maharashtra.

The award comes from the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL).
The project is part of the Magel Tyala Saur Krushi Pump Yojana / PM-KUSUM B Scheme, aimed at promoting solar-powered irrigation.
Under this order, GK Energy will supply and install 13,239 off-grid DC solar photovoltaic water pumping systems in 3 HP, 5 HP, and 7.5 HP capacities across the state.
The total value of the contract is approximately ₹366.63 crore, including GST.
Scope of Work & Timeline
This is a one-time domestic contract, and GK Energy Limited is responsible for the entire lifecycle of the solar pump systems. This includes designing, manufacturing, supplying, transporting, installing, testing, and commissioning all units.
The installation work must be completed within 60 days from the date the company receives the Notice to Proceed (NTP) or work order from the respective circle office.
The company also clarified that the project does not involve any related-party transactions, and neither the promoters nor group companies have any interest in the awarding authority.
