In a significant milestone, KEC’s India Transmission & Distribution business has secured its largest-ever order from a reputed private sector client. The project involves the execution of critical high-voltage power infrastructure, including:
765 kV Transmission Line
765/400 kV Air Insulated Substation (AIS)
Project execution on a Lump Sum Turnkey (LSTK) basis
This order highlights KEC’s proven expertise in executing complex, ultra-high voltage transmission projects that are vital for strengthening India’s power grid and ensuring reliable electricity transmission.
Expansion in Civil Infrastructure Portfolio
Alongside the T&D order, KEC’s Civil business has secured an additional contract for civil and structural works related to a 150 MW thermal power plant. Awarded by a prominent private player, this project underscores the company’s growing presence in the power-linked civil infrastructure segment.
