Antony Waste Handling Cell Limited (AWHCL) has announced a major win for its material subsidiary, AG Enviro Infra Projects Private Limited, which has secured two large Collection & Transportation (C&T) contracts from the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC). These orders further strengthen AWHCL’s leadership position in India’s urban waste management space.
The contracts have been awarded to a Joint Venture (JV) in which AG Enviro Infra Projects holds a 51% stake, along with M/s. Jigar Transport Company (29%) and M/s. M. K. Enterprises (20%).

Total Contract Value:
The combined value of the two contracts stands at around ₹1,330 crore.Individual Contract Size:
One contract is valued at approximately ₹684 crore, while the other is worth about ₹646 crore.Scope of Work:
The JV will handle the collection and transportation of municipal solid waste (MSW) using new, owned vehicles, transporting waste to designated landfill sites as per BMC norms.Daily Waste Handling Capacity:
Together, the projects will manage nearly 1,250 metric tonnes per day (MTPD) of waste.About 650 MTPD will be collected from A, B, C, and D Wards of Mumbai City.
Around 600 MTPD will be handled from N, S, and T Wards of Mumbai City.
Contract Tenure:
Both contracts are awarded for a seven-year period, offering long-term revenue visibility.
Commenting on the development, the Chairman & Managing Director of AWHCL said the new orders reinforce the company’s long-standing association with Mumbai and align with its strategy of building a strong and resilient waste management portfolio.
The company also clarified that neither the promoters nor any group companies have any interest in BMC, and the awarded contracts do not qualify as related party transactions.
