Titagarh Rail Systems Limited has secured a significant contract valued at ₹273.24 crore, inclusive of GST, strengthening its position in India’s railway infrastructure and rolling stock segment.

Order Scope and Nature

The contract involves the design, manufacture, supply, testing, and commissioning of Rail-Borne Maintenance Vehicles. In addition to the supply of these specialized machines, the scope also includes training of Indian Railways personnel, along with servicing and breakdown maintenance charges, ensuring long-term operational support.

Execution Timeline

As per the terms of the order, the supply of machines is scheduled to commence within 15 months from the date of placement of the order or issuance of the Letter of Acceptance. The complete delivery of all machines along with the required set of spares must be completed within 48 months from the order or Letter of Acceptance date.
