Ceigall India Limited (CIL) has achieved another significant milestone in the urban infrastructure segment. On January 16, 2026, the company announced that it, in a joint venture with SAM India Builtwell Pvt. Ltd., has been declared the L-1 (lowest) bidder for a major project awarded by the Jaipur Metro Rail Corporation Ltd (JMRC).

The bid was submitted through a joint venture arrangement in which Ceigall India Limited holds a 74% stake, while SAM India Builtwell Pvt. Ltd. holds the remaining 26%. This partnership brings together strong EPC execution capabilities for the timely delivery of complex metro infrastructure.
The contract involves the design and construction of an elevated viaduct along with ten elevated metro stations as part of the Jaipur Metro Phase-II Mass Rapid Transit System (MRTS).

The scope of work includes the construction of the following ten elevated stations:

These stations will play a crucial role in expanding Jaipur’s metro connectivity and improving urban mobility.
Technical Scope and Execution Model
The project spans a total length of 10.8 km, covering Chainage –600 metres to 11,400 metres, and also includes a spur line leading towards the metro depot. Execution will be carried out under an EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) and Item Rate mode, ensuring both design responsibility and cost efficiency.

Total Bid Value: ₹918.04 crore
Execution Period: 34 months
The project has been awarded by a domestic government entity, reinforcing Ceigall India’s growing presence in India’s public infrastructure development.
Regulatory Disclosure and Governance
The announcement was made in compliance with Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015. Ceigall India Limited has confirmed that none of its promoters, promoter group, or group companies have any interest in Jaipur Metro Rail Corporation Ltd, and that the contract does not constitute a related party transaction.
