On February 10, 2026, Quadrant Future Tek Limited announced a major contract win from Banaras Locomotive Works (BLW), marking a significant milestone for the company in the railway safety and signaling segment.

The order highlights Quadrant’s growing role in India’s railway modernization efforts, particularly in the implementation of advanced train protection systems.

Scope of the Project

Under the agreement, Quadrant Future Tek will undertake the:

  • Supply, Installation, Testing, and Commissioning of
    223 Onboard KAVACH Loco Equipment (Version 4.0)

  • The project also includes a warranty component

  • All equipment must comply with RSDO (Research Designs & Standards Organisation) specifications

KAVACH is India’s indigenous train collision avoidance system designed to enhance railway safety. The deployment of Version 4.0 equipment across locomotives represents a crucial step in strengthening operational safety standards.

Contract Value

The total contract value stands at:

₹1,81,56,66,000/- (approximately ₹181.57 Crores)
(Inclusive of taxes)

This substantial order reinforces Quadrant Future Tek’s strong order book and its position in the railway technology sector.

Execution Timeline

Quadrant is required to complete the project within:

  • 12 months from the date of issuance of the Purchase Order.

Timely execution will be critical, given the scale and safety-sensitive nature of the KAVACH system implementation.

Arm’s Length Transaction

The company clarified that the contract has been awarded on an arm’s length basis. Additionally, Quadrant confirmed that:

  • Its promoters,

  • Promoter group, and

  • Group companies

have no financial or other interest in Banaras Locomotive Works.

Official Acceptance

Quadrant Future Tek Limited has formally accepted the offer and is set to begin execution as per the agreed timeline.
