Kalpataru Projects: New Orders Worth ₹2,471 Crore!

Kalpataru Projects International Limited (KPIL) just announced a massive wave of new business. On March 17, 2026, the company revealed it has secured new orders worth approximately ₹2,471 Crore.

This is a major milestone for KPIL, bringing their total orders for the current financial year to a staggering ₹22,000 Crore.

Where is the money going?

These new projects cover several key areas that help build India’s future:

  • City Travel (Underground Metro): KPIL won a major contract for an underground metro rail project in India. This project, done alongside partner companies, helps KPIL become a bigger player in city transportation.

  • Power & Electricity: The company landed new deals to set up power transmission lines and distribution systems, both in India and in international markets. This ensures steady growth for their power business.

  • Buildings & Factories: They also secured more work for constructing large buildings and industrial factories right here in India.

A Bright Future for Infrastructure

Manish Mohnot, the MD & CEO of KPIL, noted that these wins show how much the construction and infrastructure industries are booming right now.

Because the company has many more projects lined up and is currently the “lowest bidder” (L1) for several other deals, they are very confident about hitting their growth targets for 2026. This news comes on the same day as another big win for Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), showing that India’s infrastructure sector is on a roll!
