Waaree Renewable Technologies Limited (WAAREERTL) has announced a significant enhancement to an existing contract, further solidifying its position as a leading player in India’s burgeoning renewable energy sector. The company informed the exchanges on June 17, 2026, about receiving an increased scope of work for its Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) services.
This latest development sees an enhancement of Rs. 30.91 Crore to an ongoing contract for the execution of a substantial Solar Power Plant. This project was initially disclosed in February 2024 and November 2025. With this addition, the total value of the contract now stands at an impressive Rs. 1,044.69 Crore (inclusive of taxes). The aggregate order size for the 980 MWp / 700 MWac solar power plant remains as previously disclosed, reinforcing the client’s confidence in WAAREERTL’s execution capabilities.
The order was awarded by “One of India’s leading Renewable Energy companies,” a domestic entity, highlighting WAAREERTL’s strong partnerships within the Indian market. The terms and conditions of the original contract remain consistent, with the time period for execution to be mutually decided. Importantly, the company clarified that this is a commercial order and does not fall under related party transactions, ensuring transparency and standard business practices.
This contract enhancement underscores Waaree Renewable Technologies Limited’s continued growth trajectory and its pivotal role in India’s transition towards cleaner energy. Such developments not only strengthen the company’s order book but also reflect the increasing demand for high-quality EPC services in the solar power segment. This reinforces WAAREERTL’s operational efficiency and market leadership.
