The dynamic world of ad-tech just witnessed a significant move as Affle 3i Limited, a global technology leader in consumer conversions, announced the strategic acquisition of select AdColony technology assets and trademark from DT (formerly Digital Turbine). This deal, revealed on June 16, 2026, marks a pivotal step in Affle’s aggressive 10X growth strategy and promises to reshape its AI-powered Consumer Platform.Affle MEA FZ LLC has acquired key components, including AdColony’s SDKs for Android and iOS, its robust tech platform, existing integrations with in-app publishers and mediation platforms, as well as the brand name, domain, and related goodwill. For Affle, this acquisition is a direct play to significantly augment its technology stack, expand its SDK reach, and strengthen its global footprint in mobile publisher connections. Anuj Khanna Sohum, Chairperson, MD & CEO of Affle, highlighted that integrating AdColony is crucial for “driving global scale for Affle’s advertisers with premium conversions powered by deeper audience intelligence across all our industry verticals.” The enhanced platform aims to deliver superior ROI through Affle’s differentiated CPCU (Cost Per Converted User) business model.

On the other side of the transaction, DT’s divestiture allows the company to sharpen its focus on core media and distribution platforms, consolidating around its proprietary DTX exchange. CEO Bill Stone noted this decision simplifies their technology stack and builds a stronger long-term platform. Crucially, the deal also creates an opportunity to deepen the commercial relationship between Affle and DT, leveraging their respective strengths.
