E TO E Transportation Infrastructure Limited (NSE: E2ERAIL) has secured a new railway infrastructure contract worth ₹22.88 crore from the Southern Railway, Thiruvananthapuram Division, further strengthening its presence in India’s expanding railway modernization program.
The contract involves the execution of advanced signalling and telecommunication works at Neyyatinkara Railway Station, an important project that forms part of the ongoing railway track doubling between Thiruvananthapuram Central and Kanniyakumari. The project is expected to improve operational efficiency, increase line capacity, and enhance the overall safety of train operations along this busy rail corridor.
Contract Supports Railway Network Modernisation
Under the awarded contract, E2ERAIL will provide complete indoor and outdoor signalling and telecommunication systems required for the Stage-I and Stage-II development works associated with the track doubling project.
Modern signalling infrastructure plays a crucial role in improving train movement, reducing operational delays, enhancing passenger safety, and supporting higher traffic volumes on heavily utilized railway routes.
The company has been given eight months from the date of the Letter of Award to complete the project.
