Viviana Power Tech Powers Up with Rs. 71.39 Crore Turnkey Order from PGVCL
Viviana Power Tech Limited has secured a new turnkey engineering contract worth ₹71.39 crore from Paschim Gujarat Vij Company Limited (PGVCL), further strengthening its order book and reinforcing its long-standing relationship with the state-owned power distribution company.
The latest order is particularly significant as it has been awarded by an existing client, reflecting PGVCL’s continued confidence in Viviana Power Tech’s project execution capabilities and technical expertise in the power transmission and distribution sector.
Project to Modernize Gujarat’s Power Distribution Network
Under the contract, Viviana Power Tech will undertake the conversion of the existing 11 kV High Tension (HT) and Low Tension (LT) overhead power distribution network, along with consumer service lines, into an advanced underground cable network integrated with a Ring Main System (RMS).
The project is designed to improve the reliability and efficiency of electricity distribution while reducing outages, transmission losses, and maintenance requirements. Underground cable infrastructure also enhances public safety and improves the overall appearance of urban areas by replacing overhead power lines.
The project is scheduled to be completed within 18 months from the date of the Letter of Award.
