Epigral Limited’s Expansion Plans

Epigral Limited (formerly Meghmani Finechem Limited) has announced plans to expand production capacity for Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride (CPVC) Resin and Epichlorohydrin at its Dahej facility in Gujarat. This expansion, approved by the Board of Directors on November 9, 2024, aims to leverage market growth opportunities and boost the company’s market share.

Expansion Details:

  • CPVC Resin:

    • Current capacity: 75,000 TPA (tonnes per annum)
    • Current utilization: 65%
    • Planned capacity addition: 75,000 TPA
    • Total capacity post-expansion: 150,000 TPA
  • Epichlorohydrin:

    • Current capacity: 50,000 TPA
    • Current utilization: 80%
    • Planned capacity addition: 50,000 TPA
    • Total capacity post-expansion: 100,000 TPA

Completion of the expansion is targeted for the first half of the 2027 fiscal year (H1 FY2027). The project requires an estimated investment of Rs. 780 crore, which will be financed through a mix of internal accruals and debt.
