Interarch Building Solutions Inaugurates ₹70 Crore Gujarat Facility, Boosting Pan-India Manufacturing by 40,000 MT
nterarch Building Solutions Limited (BSE: 544232 | NSE: INTERARCH), one of India’s leading providers of pre-engineered steel buildings and turnkey steel construction solutions, has strengthened its manufacturing footprint with the inauguration of a new production facility in Kheda, Gujarat. The state-of-the-art plant, inaugurated on July 9, 2026, marks another milestone in the company’s long-term expansion strategy and is expected to significantly enhance its production capabilities across India.
Spread across nearly 12 acres, the Kheda facility represents a total investment of approximately ₹70 crore across two development phases. The expansion comes at a time when demand for modern industrial infrastructure continues to grow, supported by rapid investments in manufacturing, logistics, renewable energy, and data centers.
Manufacturing Capacity Set to Double
The newly commissioned facility will substantially increase Interarch’s manufacturing capacity.
- Total Investment: ₹70 crore
- Phase I Capacity: 20,000 metric tonnes (MT) per annum
- Final Capacity: 40,000 MT per annum upon completion of both phases
- Employment Generation: More than 400 direct and indirect jobs
- Location Advantage: Close proximity to major ports, enabling faster deliveries across Western and Central India while strengthening export capabilities.
The strategic location in Gujarat also allows the company to better serve one of India’s fastest-growing industrial hubs, where it has already executed projects for leading corporate groups, including Adani and Reliance.
Strengthening India’s Industrial Infrastructure
The Kheda manufacturing plant incorporates advanced automation, precision engineering, and modern production technologies designed to improve efficiency, product quality, and delivery schedules. The facility is expected to help Interarch meet increasing customer demand for sustainable and high-performance steel building solutions.
Managing Director Arvind Nanda said the investment reflects the company’s strong confidence in India’s manufacturing-led growth story. He noted that rising government infrastructure spending and expanding industrial investments continue to create significant opportunities for the steel construction industry, and the new facility positions Interarch to capitalize on this long-term growth.
Supporting High-Growth Industries
Whole-Time Director Gautam Suri highlighted that the advanced manufacturing technologies deployed at the Kheda plant will enhance productivity while enabling faster execution of customer projects. According to him, the expanded capacity will help the company cater to rapidly growing industries such as:
- Renewable Energy
- Semiconductor Manufacturing
- Data Centers
- Logistics & Warehousing
- Electric Vehicles (EV)
- Advanced Manufacturing
The facility is expected to deliver faster turnaround times, improved product quality, and more sustainable construction solutions for customers across these sectors.
Expanding Nationwide Manufacturing Network
With the addition of the Gujarat plant, Interarch further strengthens its nationwide manufacturing network, improving its ability to serve customers across India while expanding its export readiness. The investment reinforces the company’s leadership in the pre-engineered building (PEB) industry and positions it to benefit from India’s accelerating industrial and infrastructure development over the coming years.
As industrial investments continue to rise across multiple sectors, Interarch’s latest expansion is expected to play an important role in supporting the country’s growing demand for modern steel construction solutions while creating new employment opportunities and strengthening regional manufacturing capabilities.
