Sanathan Textiles Ltd Set to Double Technical Textiles Yarn Capacity by August 2026
Mumbai, July 23, 2026: Sanathan Textiles Ltd is on track to significantly strengthen its presence in India’s fast-growing technical textiles industry with the near completion of its capacity expansion project at the Silvassa manufacturing facility. The company announced that commercial production from the expanded facility is expected to begin in August 2026, doubling its annual technical textiles yarn capacity from 9,000 metric tonnes (MTA) to 18,000 MTA.
The expansion marks another important milestone in Sanathan Textiles’ long-term growth strategy, enabling the company to cater to rising demand for high-performance specialty yarns across domestic and international markets.
Expansion Project Nears Completion
According to the company’s latest update, the project has entered its final execution stage. Civil construction work has been completed, while the installation of advanced machinery—including high-performance yarn spinning machines sourced from Pieter Barmag, Germany—has also been successfully finished.
With commissioning activities progressing as planned, the expanded production facility is expected to become operational in August 2026, significantly enhancing the company’s manufacturing capabilities and operational efficiency.
