Shyam Metalics and Energy Limited has announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Shyam SEL and Power Limited, has successfully commissioned an 8.90 MW captive solar power plant at its manufacturing facility in Sambalpur, West Bengal. The project marks another milestone in the company’s sustainability journey and reinforces its commitment to integrating renewable energy into its manufacturing operations.
The captive solar project is expected to reduce energy costs, improve operational efficiency, and lower the company’s carbon footprint while supporting its long-term clean energy strategy.
