Kansai Nerolac Paints Limited and Rajshree Polypack Limited have announced expansions to enhance their production capacities, reflecting their commitment to meeting growing market demand.

Kansai Nerolac Paints Limited

  • Expansion Details: Increasing auto paint production capacity at its Sayakha plant by 4,200 KL per annum.
  • New Capacity: Expanding from 11,940 KL per annum to 16,140 KL per annum.
  • Current Utilization: The plant operates at 84% capacity utilization.
  • Investment: ₹41 Crores, funded through internal accruals.
  • Reason for Expansion: Driven by growth in the automotive paint industry.

Rajshree Polypack Limited

  • Expansion Strategy: Adding capacity through the acquisition of thermoforming and extrusion machinery.
  • New Capacity Addition:
    • Extrusion: 1,600 MTPA
    • Forming: 1,100 MTPA
  • Current Capacity & Utilization:
    • Extrusion: 24,000 MTPA (88% utilization)
    • Forming: 10,270 MTPA (70% utilization)
  • Investment: ₹3.50 Crores, funded through debt and internal accruals.
  • Completion Timeline: Expected by June 2025.
  • Purpose: To meet the increasing demand for its products.
  • Location: New machinery will be installed at the Daman facility.
