BikeWo Signs MoU to Acquire Majority Stake in Enlite EV Care to Expand EV Services Business

Hyderabad, August 4, 2026: BikeWo Green Tech Limited has announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to acquire a majority stake in Enlite EV Care, a company specializing in electric vehicle (EV) servicing and maintenance. The proposed acquisition is aimed at strengthening BikeWo’s presence across the EV value chain by adding organized after-sales services and lifecycle support to its growing electric mobility ecosystem.

Strengthening India’s EV Service Infrastructure

The rapid adoption of electric vehicles across commercial sectors such as last-mile delivery, logistics, and fleet mobility has significantly increased the need for reliable service and maintenance infrastructure. Recognizing this opportunity, BikeWo plans to establish a network of dedicated EV Care Centres focused primarily on B2B customers and commercial electric vehicle fleets.

These service centers are expected to provide a comprehensive range of solutions, including:

  • Preventive maintenance
  • Vehicle diagnostics and repairs
  • Battery and electrical system servicing
  • Periodic maintenance
  • Fleet uptime management
  • Lifecycle support for commercial EVs

The initiative is designed to reduce vehicle downtime, improve fleet efficiency, and lower operating costs for commercial fleet operators through technology-enabled maintenance services.

Digital-First EV Service Ecosystem

As part of the proposed collaboration, BikeWo and Enlite EV Care will jointly evaluate suitable locations and operational models for the EV Care Centres. The companies also plan to integrate advanced digital technologies into the service network, including:

  • Vehicle health monitoring
  • Predictive maintenance
  • Digital service scheduling
  • Electronic maintenance records
  • Fleet performance analytics

These digital capabilities are expected to improve operational efficiency while offering fleet operators real-time insights into vehicle health and maintenance requirements.

Management Commentary

Commenting on the proposed acquisition, Hiten Pal Saklani, Chief Executive Officer of BikeWo Green Tech Limited, said the company views service infrastructure as a critical component of India’s evolving electric mobility ecosystem.

According to him, integrating vehicle maintenance and lifecycle management into BikeWo’s mobility platform will help improve fleet uptime, enhance service quality, and deliver greater operational efficiency for commercial fleet operators. He added that the acquisition represents an important step toward building a comprehensive and scalable electric mobility platform.

Supporting Long-Term Growth Strategy

The proposed acquisition aligns with BikeWo’s broader strategy of expanding its capabilities across multiple segments of the mobility ecosystem, including:

  • Electric mobility
  • Fleet operations
  • Logistics infrastructure
  • Technology solutions
  • Renewable energy

By combining vehicle deployment with organized maintenance and lifecycle management, BikeWo aims to create a more resilient and scalable business platform capable of supporting India’s fast-growing commercial EV market.

Transaction Subject to Regulatory Approvals

The acquisition remains subject to several conditions, including:

  • Completion of due diligence
  • Business valuation
  • Negotiation and execution of definitive agreements
  • Necessary corporate and regulatory approvals

Once completed, the transaction is expected to further strengthen BikeWo’s position in India’s electric mobility sector.
