Avio Smart Market Stack Forges Tripura Partnership, Targets 1,300 Jobs with Agri-Tech Investment
Avio Smart Market Stack Limited (ASMS) has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Tripura to establish a modern freeze-drying facility for fruits and vegetables in the state. The announcement, made on July 14, 2026, marks a major step toward strengthening agricultural infrastructure and boosting value-added food processing in Northeast India.
The agreement was signed during the Destination Tripura Business Conclave 2026, reflecting the company’s commitment to supporting sustainable agriculture, reducing food wastage, and creating new income opportunities for farmers.
Modern Food Processing for Higher Farmer Income
The proposed facility will utilize advanced freeze-drying technology, a preservation method that removes moisture while retaining the nutritional value, taste, and quality of fruits and vegetables. This technology significantly extends product shelf life, enabling local produce to reach premium domestic and international markets.
By improving post-harvest processing, the project is expected to reduce crop losses and help farmers realize better prices for their produce.
