The comprehensive mobility solutions provider has secured two substantial contracts from both private and public sector stalwarts. Firstly, a Letter of Intent (LoI) with JSW (South) Rail Logistics Private Limited, valued at Rs. 122.88 crore, involves the manufacture and supply of 5 BFNSM1 rakes along with BVCM wagons, plus two additional BFNV wagons. This order is slated for execution within a brisk seven months, demonstrating JWL’s agility and capacity.
In parallel, the Central Warehousing Corporation (CWC), a key Government of India enterprise, has awarded Jupiter Wagons a contract worth Rs. 141.44 crore. This entails the manufacture and supply of 8 BLSS rakes, comprising 32 BLSS-A wagons, 352 BLSS-B wagons, and 8 brake vans, expected to be completed within one year. These twin wins, totaling Rs. 264.32 crore, are a testament to JWL’s expanding reach and diversified client base.
Mr. Vivek Lohia, Managing Director of Jupiter Wagons, underscored the strategic importance of these contracts. “These order wins… further strengthen our growth momentum and reflect the continued confidence of leading logistics and infrastructure organisations,” he stated. Highlighting India’s aggressive investment in rail-led logistics and multimodal connectivity, Lohia emphasized JWL’s commitment to delivering advanced wagon solutions that enhance efficiency, improve turnaround times, and ultimately contribute to the nation’s economic progress.
As India continues its infrastructure modernization drive, the demand for specialized, high-capacity rolling stock is soaring. Jupiter Wagons, with its robust manufacturing facilities and innovative product portfolio, is perfectly positioned to support this transition, playing a critical role in shaping the future of Indian transportation.
