On February 11, 2026, Kernex Microsystems (India) Limited announced that it has received a major domestic order from Banaras Locomotive Works (BLW), Varanasi. Scope of Work

Under this contract, Kernex Microsystems will undertake the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of 505 units of On-board KAVACH Loco Equipment.

KAVACH is India’s indigenous train collision avoidance system designed to enhance railway safety. The equipment to be supplied must comply with RDSO Specification No. RDSO/SPN/196/2020, Version 4.0, or its latest applicable version, ensuring adherence to Indian Railways’ technical and safety standards.

Execution Timeline

The company is required to complete the project within 12 months from the date of the purchase order, reflecting a relatively tight delivery schedule for a project of this scale.

Corporate Governance Disclosure

Kernex Microsystems clarified that the order does not involve any interest from its promoter or promoter group, and the transaction does not qualify as a related party transaction.

The disclosure has been made in line with the applicable SEBI regulations, including the SEBI Master Circular dated November 11, 2024, and the subsequent circular issued on December 31, 2024.
