Om Infra Poised to Bag Rs 482.27 Crore Rajasthan Water Infrastructure Project
Jaipur: Om Infra Limited (NSE: OMINFRA, BSE: 531092) has received a major boost to its project pipeline after being declared the Lowest (L1) Bidder for an Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) turnkey contract worth ₹482.27 crore from the Water Resources Department (WRD), Government of Rajasthan.
The project marks another significant milestone for the infrastructure company and reinforces its strong position in India’s water infrastructure and irrigation sector.
Project Details
The contract relates to the Adhar Medium Irrigation Project in Baran district, Rajasthan, and covers the end-to-end execution of critical irrigation infrastructure.
The scope of work includes:
- Detailed survey and engineering design
- Construction of the dam
- Development of a pressurized piped irrigation network
- Construction of the canal distribution system
- Operation and Maintenance (O&M) of the completed project
The EPC project aims to improve irrigation facilities, enhance water-use efficiency, and support agricultural development in the region.
Strengthening Order Book
With a project value of ₹482.27 crore, the contract has the potential to significantly strengthen Om Infra’s order book once the formal Letter of Intent (LoI) is issued.
Although the company has been declared the L1 bidder, the contract will become effective after the issuance of the official work order and completion of other customary procedures.
