The contract has been awarded by a domestic government entity and involves supplying bulk explosives to various subsidiaries of Coal India Limited. These explosives are critical inputs for large-scale mining operations and play a key role in ensuring uninterrupted coal production.

Total Order Value from Coal India

This latest order builds on an earlier contract secured in October 2025, when Solar Industries received an order worth ₹483 crore from Southeastern Coalfields Limited, a Coal India subsidiary.

With the addition of the new ₹1,746 crore contract:

  • Total order value from Coal India Limited: ₹2,229 crore

This cumulative figure highlights Solar Industries’ deepening engagement with Coal India and its growing role in supporting India’s energy and mining ecosystem.
