Supreme Power Equipment Wins ₹113.61 Crore in New Orders!

Supreme Power Equipment Limited (SPEL), along with its partner Danya Electric Company, has just announced a major win. On March 17, 2026, the company revealed it has bagged new domestic orders worth a total of ₹113.61 Crore.

These orders focus on providing essential power equipment to help strengthen India’s electricity grid.

A Breakdown of the Big Wins

The total money is spread across three main contracts for power and distribution transformers:

  • Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB): A ₹35.76 Crore order for heavy-duty power transformers. These will be delivered over the next 14 months.

  • Tamil Nadu Power Distribution Company: A ₹6.54 Crore order for smaller distribution transformers, with a 12-month delivery timeline.

  • Danya Electric Company (SPEL’s partner): A massive ₹71.31 Crore order for various types of transformers used to manage electricity in local areas. These will be completed within 12 to 18 months.

Why This is Important

This win isn’t just a one-off. It’s part of a massive wave of growth for Indian infrastructure companies. On the very same day, other industry giants also reported huge successes:

  • Bharat Electronics (BEL): Secured ₹1,011 Crore in defense and tech orders.

  • Kalpataru Projects (KPIL): Landed ₹2,471 Crore for metro and power projects.

  • Ceigall India: Won ₹207 Crore for urban development in Punjab.

Together, these announcements show that India is currently in a “building boom,” with massive investments flowing into power, transport, and defense.
