Virtual Galaxy Infotech Secures Cybersecurity SaaS Order from BDCC Bank, Expands Long-Term Partnership

Mumbai: Virtual Galaxy Infotech Limited (VGIL) has secured a new order from The Juliana District Central Co-operative Bank Ltd. (BDCC Bank) to deploy and manage its AI-powered Cyber Sentinel Cybersecurity Operations Centre (C-SOC) Platform-as-a-Service (SaaS). The order strengthens VGIL’s position in the banking cybersecurity segment while expanding its portfolio of recurring SaaS-based revenues.

The latest engagement further deepens the company’s long-standing relationship with BDCC Bank and reflects the growing demand for advanced cybersecurity solutions across India’s banking sector.

Long-Standing Banking Relationship

Virtual Galaxy Infotech has been associated with BDCC Bank for over a decade. Since 2014, the cooperative bank has been using the company’s flagship E-Banker Core Banking Solution, making it one of VGIL’s long-term technology partners.

The adoption of the Cyber Sentinel platform marks another milestone in the relationship, highlighting the bank’s continued confidence in Virtual Galaxy Infotech’s technology capabilities, implementation expertise, and customer support.

AI-Driven Cybersecurity Platform

Under the agreement, VGIL will provide a fully managed Cybersecurity Operations Centre (C-SOC) through its Cyber Sentinel SaaS platform.

The solution offers enterprise-grade cyber threat detection, monitoring, and incident response through an integrated suite of security technologies, including:

  • Security Information and Event Management (SIEM)
  • Security Orchestration, Automation and Response (SOAR)
  • User and Entity Behavior Analytics (UEBA)
  • Threat Intelligence
  • IT Service Management (ITSM)
  • 24×7 Security Operations Centre (SOC) Monitoring

The AI-powered platform enables financial institutions to identify cyber threats in real time, automate security workflows, improve regulatory compliance, and strengthen their overall cybersecurity posture.

Cyber Sentinel Gains Industry Recognition

The order follows the recent recognition of Cyber Sentinel with the TECHNOVITI 2026 Award, highlighting the platform’s innovation in AI-powered cybersecurity solutions for the banking and financial services industry.

Commenting on the development, Avinash Hinge, Chairman, Executive Director and CFO of Virtual Galaxy Infotech, said the expanded engagement reflects the trust BDCC Bank has placed in the company’s technology, execution capabilities, and long-term customer support.

Expanding Recurring SaaS Revenue

The latest order aligns with Virtual Galaxy Infotech’s strategy of increasing its recurring Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) revenue by cross-selling high-value managed services to its existing banking clients.

With cybersecurity becoming a strategic priority for financial institutions amid rising digital transactions and evolving regulatory requirements, the company expects sustained demand for AI-powered managed security solutions.
