Vivid Electromech Bags ₹30.13 Crore Data Centre Order from STT Global Data Centres

Vivid Electromech Limited (VIVIDEL) has announced the receipt of a new order worth approximately ₹30.13 crore, further strengthening its presence in India’s fast-growing data centre infrastructure sector.

The contract has been awarded by STT Global Data Centres India Private Limited, one of the country’s leading data centre operators. The company is associated with Tata Communications Limited, making the project an important addition to Vivid Electromech’s portfolio.

Details of the Order

According to the company’s announcement, the contract is valued at ₹301,338,848 (approximately ₹30.13 crore).

Under the project, Vivid Electromech will undertake the Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning (SITC) of Power Distribution Units (PDU) and Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) panels for the NMDC02 data centre facility.

The project will be executed within six months from the date of the purchase order.

Supporting Critical Data Centre Infrastructure

The scope of work involves two key components used in modern data centres.

Power Distribution Units (PDUs) play a vital role in safely distributing electrical power to servers and networking equipment, ensuring uninterrupted operations.

Meanwhile, DWDM panels are an important part of high-speed optical communication networks. They enable large volumes of data to be transmitted efficiently through a single optical fibre, making them essential for today’s high-capacity data centres.

By executing this project, Vivid Electromech will contribute to the infrastructure that supports cloud computing, digital services, and enterprise data storage.

India’s Data Centre Industry Continues to Expand

India has witnessed rapid growth in the data centre sector over the past few years. Rising internet usage, increasing cloud adoption, artificial intelligence workloads, and data localisation requirements have led to higher demand for advanced digital infrastructure.

As companies continue to invest in new facilities across the country, there is growing demand for reliable partners capable of delivering specialised electrical and networking infrastructure.

With this latest order from STT Global Data Centres India, Vivid Electromech further strengthens its presence in this expanding market while adding another major project to its execution pipeline.
